Opening hours
The Christmas Garden Insel Mainau is open from November 19, 2024 to January 06, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Last admission is at 20:00.
The Christmas Garden is closed on the following days: November 25 and 26, December 02, 03, 24 and 31, 2024

Arriving by car
There is ample parking available in the parking lot on Mainau Island. The parking fee is €6.00 for visitors and €2.00 for holders of an annual pass.
Arrival by public transport
The bus of the ring line 4/13 and 13/4 stops near the entrance. Further information can be found at Stadtwerke Konstanz.
Arrival by boat
The BSB offers a shuttle service from Unteruhldingen and Meersburg to Mainau Island. Information on departure times and tickets can be found here.
Family days
There are very special highlights for children on Family Day: On a scavenger hunt through the Christmas Garden, there are tricky questions to solve and little surprises to get hold of at the end. In addition, readings of Astrid Lindgren's Christmas stories will enchant young and old alike in the castle church. Children can get creative in the atmospheric Palm House by making Christmas decorations - an activity organized by the Innenschau association.
Our family days take place exclusively on November 27, December 04 and December 11 take place.

Personal admission time
In order to give you the best possible experience, admission for visitors is limited to 30 minutes. An admission time is stated on your ticket. Please pass through the entrance during the half hour indicated.
Example: If you have purchased a ticket for 17:30, you can enter between 17:30 and 18:00. You can of course stay in the Christmas Garden for longer than 30 minutes.
