Opening hours

The Christmas Garden Karlsruhe is open from November 27, 2024 to January 06, 2025, from 17:00 to 22:00. Last admission is at 20:00.

The Christmas Garden is closed on the following days: December 02, 03, 09, 10, 24 and 31, 2024

You can find the entrance to the Christmas Garden at:

We recommend traveling by public transport.

The following parking lots are located in the area of the Zoologischer Stadtgarten:

Underground parking garage P1, Bahnhofsplatz 1 (subject to charge)

Family days at a special price

There are some very special highlights on Family Day at Christmas Garden Karlsruhe : You can look forward to an atmospheric school concert by the Künstlerbühne, which will bring Christmas sounds to the Zoologischer Stadtgarten every hour from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Creative minds will also get their money's worth at the DIY workshop for children, where they can color their own candles.

Our family days take place exclusively on December 4th and December 11th.

Personal admission time

In order to give you the best possible experience, admission for visitors is limited to 30 minutes. An admission time is stated on your ticket. Please pass through the entrance during the half hour indicated.

Example: If you have purchased a ticket for 17:30, you can enter between 17:30 and 18:00. You can of course stay in the Christmas Garden for longer than 30 minutes.
